Job summary

SP Group in Singapore is seeking a self-motivated Civil Project Manager to join our growing team. You will assist in planning, design and submission to authorities, manage budgets, and ensure projects meet safety, quality and schedule requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, has 5 years of project management experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of BIM, AI and digital engineering tools to support design coordination and construction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Experience in project management and working to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, design and submission to Authorities for approval.
• Assist in tender documentation, procurement, tender evaluations and site administration.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist internal stakeholders in planning, design and submission to relevant Authorities / Agencies for approval
• Assist in tender documentation, procurement activities, tender evaluations, and carry out contract and site administration.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow forecasts and prepare monthly progress reports.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within approved budgets, in compliance with applicable requirements, and to the specified quality standards.
• Work with appointed consultants and contractors to ensure that M&E systems, equipment and architectural building products supplied and installed are in accordance with approved specifications and meet the required standards of quality and workmanship.
• Ensure high standards of Workplace Safety & Health at sites and enforce the Company's Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
• Manage project works in accordance with the Company's Quality Management System and ISO operational procedures.
• Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on defects, shortcomings and implementation challenges encountered during project execution, and recommend improvement measures where appropriate.
• Collate and maintain completed project records and documentation for effective retrieval and future reference.
• Provide technical advice on architectural, building and civil works matters to internal stakeholders as required

What You’ll Need:

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university, recognised by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore (PEB)
• Preferably 5 years of experience in project management
• Good oral and written communication skills
• A team player with a positive working attitude and the ability to handle tight deadlines
• Knowledge and experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital engineering solutions for design coordination, project management and construction technology (e.g. robotics/automation) will be an advantage.
