Job summary

SP Group, a leading utilities provider in the Asia Pacific, is seeking a driven professional in Singapore to support contract administration and quantity surveying activities. The role offers exposure to budgeting, tender evaluation and stakeholder coordination within a dynamic energy sector.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Building/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying, bring at least three years of relevant experience, and demonstrate familiarity with local contract

Qualifications

• Degree in Building/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or contract management.
• Knowledge of local standard conditions of contracts and market unit rates.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in contract administration including cash flow/ budgetary forecasts, cost estimates, cost data analysis, tender evaluation, processing of payments, claims, variation orders and preparation of reports and approval papers.
• Ensure that contracts are administered in accordance with executed contract documents.
• Follow up with key stakeholders to ensure processes and contract administration follow company policies and adhere to project requirements.

What You'll Do:

• To assist in contract administration which include cash flow/ budgetary forecasts, cost estimates, cost data analysis, tender evaluation, processing of payments, claims, variation orders and preparation of reports and approval papers
• To ensure that contracts are administered in accordance with executed contract documents
• Follow up with key stakeholders to ensure the processes and contract administration follow company policies and adhere to project requirements

What You'll Need:

• Degree in Building/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying or a related discipline from a recognised university
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying and/ or construction work or contract management of construction projects
• Possess good knowledge of local standard conditions of contracts for engineering or construction projects and knowledge of market unit rates
• Able to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
