Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Maintenance Engineer to plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for power plant equipment.

You will investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and availability. The role requires a Degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in power plants, with hands-on capability across Mechanical, Electrical or C&I disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Investigate failures and perform root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Coordinate maintenance during shutdowns and major overhauls.
• Provide technical expertise to Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards across disciplines.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure high equipment reliability, availability and performance.
• Investigate equipment failures and recurring defects, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance works during plant shutdowns, scheduled outages and major equipment overhauls.
• Provide technical expertise to Operations and Maintenance teams on equipment issues, repairs, modifications and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with plant safety procedures, regulatory requirements and relevant engineering standards across Mechanical, Electrical or Control & Instrumentation (C&I) disciplines.
