Job summary

PaxOcean in Singapore seeks a Project Planner with experience in detailed scheduling for marine and offshore repair, conversion and newbuild projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera is required to manage complex schedules and reporting.

You will monitor progress, identify critical paths, and work to keep projects on track and within budget while preparing regular client updates and manpower analyses.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project planning and scheduling within marine and offshore projects.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple schedules concurrently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project schedules for repair, conversion and newbuild projects.
  • Monitor progress against the schedule and mitigate delays or risks.
  • Identify critical path activities to optimise timelines.
  • Ensure projects finish on-time and within budget.
  • Estimate manpower for repair/conversion projects and prepare histograms.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly client reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing project schedules for short/long term repair/conversion/newbuild projects.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against the established schedule. Identify potential delays or risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify critical path activities and dependencies to optimise project timelines.
  • Ensure projects are completed on-time & within budget.
  • Estimate & prepare manpower histogram for repair/conversion projects
  • Prepare weekly / monthly reports for clients.
Key Requirements
  • Relevant experience in project planning and scheduling within the marine and offshore industry:
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple schedules concurrently.
