Job summary

ENGGSOL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Project/Programme Manager to oversee day-to-day construction management of shipbuilding projects and ensure delivery on schedule and budget.

You will coordinate with trades, monitor safety and cleanliness, and report progress to senior management, while applying fit-for-purpose PM processes and standards.

Diploma/Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Naval Architecture preferred; 1 year experience in newbuild or ship repairs advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Naval Architecture
• Experience in project management, planning, scheduling and costing
• Knowledge of risk management, manpower management and customer relationship management

Responsibilities

• Understand the project execution strategy fully and ensure programme is on track and executed accordingly.
• Setting the project or programme up for success by ensuring fit-for-purpose Project/Programme Management processes and standards and ensuring delivery excellence in all aspects of project delivery.
• Manage and oversee day-to-day construction management of project
• Monitor and report to Senior / Project Manager of project progress versus baseline, including issues and risks in a timely manner
• Conduct VSCC and take charge of ship work safety and cleanliness
• Liaise with trades on the activities and construction effort needed to achieve progress safely, within schedule and budget
• Plan, develop and organize the construction effort to formulate the most cost-effective plan to support schedule and cost.
