Job summary

The National Environment Agency (NEA) is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee operation and maintenance of electrical equipment at Tuas South Incineration Plant. You will ensure smooth, safe, and efficient plant operation and maintenance of systems including switchgear, transformers, motors, and control systems.

Responsibilities include leading a team, planning preventive maintenance, and managing tenders in line with NEA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience in process/power plant engineering is advantageous.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

You will work as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Tuas South Incineration Plant to ensure the plant and its electrical equipment are operated and maintained smoothly, safely and efficiently.

You will work as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Tuas South Incineration Plant to ensure the plant and its electrical equipment are operated and maintained smoothly, safely and efficiently.

[What you will be working on]

You Will Be Responsible For The Following

• Lead a group of technical officers to perform operation and maintenance of electrical equipment such as, high and low tension switchgear, electrical distribution and protection equipment, transformers and motors, distribution control system, instrumentation and process control, turbine and generator control and protection equipment
• Plan and carry out the preventive and remedial maintenance of all the electrical system in the plant so as to achieve high availability and ensure breakdown equipment are repaired within the shortest possible time
• Ensure all maintenance works are carried out safely and adhere to all safety regulations so as to achieve zero accident for the section
• Call and administer tenders/contract for the maintenance, servicing and repair of the electrical system in compliance to NEA procurement guidelines and IM requirements.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Prior working experience in process / power plant engineering and the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment system would be advantage
