Job summary

Kuok Group Singapore seeks an Engineering Project Electrical professional to lead major electrical activities for marine and offshore projects. You will provide technical guidance to draftsmen and engineers to develop competencies and complete tasks on schedule.

You will review designs, prepare drawings, coordinate with shipyards and vendors, and support site operations while ensuring compliance with class rules and project standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering & Electronics.
• Minimum 5–8 years of marine/offshore electrical newbuilding design experience.
• Familiar with rules and regulations.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop equipment technical specifications per contractual requirements, classification bodies, and authorities.
• Prepare electrical drawings (single line diagrams, equipment layouts, termination drawings).
• Plan cable routing and build 3D modeling.
• Prepare cable cutting lists and schedules.
• Provide technical support for site technical issues.
• Assist Section Project Lead in day-to-day operations.
• Review and advise on project design models and standards.
• Familiar with class regulations, product, and standards.
• Report project daily discipline (man-hour, schedule).
• Coordinate with shipyard, consultants, and vendors.
• Handle projects: new buildings, repairs, upgrades, conversions.
• Attend and report in project and section meetings.

Job Summary

As Engineering Project Electrical Section to roll the major electrical engineering activities.
To provide technical guidance to fellow Draftsman, Assistant Engineer for competencies development
To complete assigned tasks within allocated timeline with high degree of accuracy.
Technical support for site technical issue.

Key Responsibilities

• Familiar with the Marine and offshore engineering process.
• Review and develop the Equipment Technical Specification based on Owner's Contractual Requirement, Classification bodies, and all relevant authorities.
• Prepare the engineering drawings of each system( Single line diagram/ equipment layout/ termination drawing).
• Plan the cable routing and build the 3D modeling.
• Prepare the Cable cutting List/ Schedule
• Provide technical support for site arises technical issue.
• Assist Section Project Lead in day to day operations.
• Review and advise the project's design mode & standard.
• Familiar with Class regulation/rules, product, standard.
• Report the project daily discipline (Man-hour/Schedule etc.).
• Feedback for profession's design mode & standard.
• Study & Solve the project issues under Electrical responsibility.
• Attend and report in project and section meeting.
• Coordinate with Shipyard /Consultant / Vendor.

• Any others assigned.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience in the Electrical newbuilding design in the Marine / Offshore industry.
• Full of the knowledge of Power system/Automation system/ Navigation system.
• Familiar with Rules and Regulation.
• Familiar with Auto-CAD/ Microsoft Office/AVEV.
• Good communication and analytical skill.
• Good teamworking spirit.
