Job summary
Kuok Group Singapore is seeking an Engineering Project Electrical Section Lead to oversee all electrical engineering activities for marine/offshore projects. You will provide technical guidance to draftsmen and engineers, ensuring tasks meet timelines with high accuracy and supporting site technical issues.
The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience in electrical newbuilding design for marine/offshore, strong knowledge of power, automation, and navigation systems, and proficiency in
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in electrical newbuilding design for marine/offshore.
- Familiar with power, automation, navigation systems; knowledge of Class regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering activities for the section and provide technical guidance to draftsmen and engineers.
- Review and develop equipment technical specifications based on contractual requirements and authorities.
- Prepare engineering drawings (single-line, layout, terminations) and plan cable routing/3D modeling.
- Coordinate with shipyard/consultant/vendor and support site technical issues.
- Report project discipline metrics (man-hours, schedule).
- Attend project/section meetings and advise on design modes and standards.
