Job summary

Kuok Group Singapore (KGSg) seeks an Architect/Engineer to independently develop and detail the architectural outfitting and safety design in line with Class and Technical specifications.

You will prepare compartment layouts, coordinate with other engineering disciplines, liaise with suppliers, and maintain weight reports. A Bachelor's in Engineering or Architecture and proficiency with AutoCAD/AVEVA/Cadmatic are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Proficiency with CAD/design tools, including AutoCAD/AVEVA/Cadmatic.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports project lead and department mentor.
• Deliver project design drawings and documents per project plan.
• Prepare compartment layouts and manage space across disciplines.
• Prepare architectural outfitting and lifesaving equipment specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers/contractors for interpretation of drawings.
• Develop and update weight reports (weight and CG).
• Coordinate on-site trouble shooting with production teams as needed.

Job Summary

Independently develop and responsible for detail design of architectural outfitting & safety to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements within assigned schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports project lead and department mentor.
• Responsible for delivering the respective project design drawing and document according to project plan schedule.
• Prepares compartment layouts, managing space, and coordinating with other engineering specialties.
• Prepares architectural outfitting, lifesaving equipment sourcing technical specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors for interpretation of the drawings and specifications.
• Develop and update weight report (weight and center of gravity)
• Communicate with the person in charge of production on trouble shooting and visiting on-site (if needed).

Key Requirements

• Familiar with AutoCAD/ Microsoft Office/ AVEVA/ Cadmatic or simillar.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
