Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior/Staff Engineer to lead test development and product engineering for automotive managed NAND and SSD BGA products across qualification, ramp, and returns.

You will partner with NAND device, ASIC, firmware, and test teams to optimize test strategies, yield, and quality, while applying AI tools to automate workflows and data analysis. You will develop robust test infrastructure, analyze failures, and deliver clear technical reports and updates while

Qualifications

• PhD, or Master’s degree with ≥3 years, or Bachelor’s degree with ≥5 years of relevant experience in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of NAND flash or other non-volatile storage.
• Understanding of storage interfaces such as PCIe/NVMe, UFS; added advantage if familiar.
• Experience in product level testing, analysis and debugging.
• Knowledge of ATE testers, oscilloscopes, logic or interface analyzers.
• Knowledge of electrical failure analysis (EFA).
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality and cost efficient SSD and Managed NAND test strategies.
• Collaborate with Test engineering teams to define and secure required test fixtures for memory and system testing.
• Drive electrical failure analysis of UFS/SSD BGA products through qualification, high volume manufacturing and customer returns.
• Drive Yield, Test Time and Quality improvement to meet targets.
• Develop AI tools/agents to automate workflows and data analysis.
• Provide engineering reports and project status updates.
