Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore seeks a dynamic professional to join the Energy Connections Office (ECO). You will work within the Projects & Partnerships branch to negotiate proposals, assess them for energy security and sustainability, and help deliver import projects that strengthen Singapore’s energy resilience.

You will engage with overseas government bodies to secure G2G support and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Interest in energy transition and public service.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and propose solutions.
• Willing to travel overseas for work.
• Experience in electricity trading, industry engagement or project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with interested companies on proposals and evaluate them against energy security, competitiveness and sustainability requirements.
• Facilitate development and timely delivery of promising electricity imports projects.
• Engage overseas government bodies to secure G2G support for cross-border electricity trading.
