Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore seeks a Principal Engineer or Senior Principal Engineer to lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of smart grid and energy storage system (ESS) programs. Responsibilities

Develop and execute an operations-technology roadmap for grid and ESS solutions that supports Singapore's energy transition goals.
Evaluate emerging grid and ESS technologies for their potential to address power system needs and accelerate the energy transition.
Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies to assess the safety of ESS technologies.
Oversee grid and ESS R&D initiatives, testbeds, and pilots, ensuring they deliver meaningful and measurable outcomes.
Collaborate closely with government agencies, industry leaders, and technology providers to translate strategies into practical, deployable solutions.
