Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Emergency Planning Officer. You will work with government and private organisations to meet national interests and help coordinate crisis readiness, contingency planning and response exercises.

The role focuses on developing contingency plans for climate-related risks, reviewing the WoG Crisis Management framework, and supporting systems capability development, training, and knowledge management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing emergency plans and exercise planning.
• Experience in shipping, logistics or supply chain is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Formulate contingency plans to mitigate peacetime crisis and emerging risks from climate change and new energy sources.
• Review the Crisis Management framework and contingency plans.
• Conduct regular crisis management exercises to validate WoG ops readiness and coordinated responsiveness.
• Support EP systems’ capability development, knowledge management, operations readiness, and training/exercise planning.
