Job summary

Job description

What the role is

The officer will be part of a team working with both government and private organisations to meet national interests.

What you will be working on

• Formulation of contingency plans to mitigate peacetime crisis and emerging risks brought forth by climate change and hazards from the use of new energy sources such as green fuels.
• Review of our MPA Crisis Management framework and contingency plans, and conducting regular crisis management exercises to validate WoG ops readiness and coordinated responsiveness.
• Support EP systems' capability development, knowledge management of EP information, operational readiness, as well as training and exercises planning and evaluation.

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years of experience in developing emergency plans and exercise planning.
• Past experience in the shipping, logistics or supply chain industry will be an added advantage.
• Highly driven, organized, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent appointment.
