Job summary

ST Engineering Info-security seeks a Software System Architect to lead embedded software architecture and secure product development for high-performance security products. You will guide design decisions, oversee development and ensure robust system integration across hardware and software domains.

The role requires hands-on expertise in embedded Linux, Yocto/PetaLinux, and experience leading teams through architecture, design, and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems and software design and development.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Rust, Python and Bash scripting.
• Strong experience with embedded Linux platforms; Yocto or PetaLinux preferred.
• Solid understanding of hardware-software integration and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end software architecture for embedded and application-level systems.
• Design, develop, integrate and validate embedded software and firmware components.
• Provide technical leadership, reviews and guidance for the software team.
• Collaborate with product managers, hardware engineers and vendors to align solutions with timelines.
• Produce architecture documents, design specs and engineering reports.
