Job summary

talentsis pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to lead the architecture, design and development of embedded software for Linux-based high-performance security products in Singapore.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership across the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, with 5+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, Rust, Python and Bash skills, and experience with

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software or firmware development.
Proficient in C/C++, Rust, Python, and Bash scripting.
Experience with Embedded Linux platforms and OS customization.
Knowledge of networking concepts, routing, switching, and network programming.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, GitLab, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience with Linux kernel drivers is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop embedded software and firmware for Linux-based platforms.
Define software architecture, system interfaces, and integration strategies.
Lead and mentor software engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
Integrate software with hardware platforms and perform system-level testing.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
Prepare technical documentation, architecture designs, and engineering reports.
