FILPAL (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Electronics Technician to perform hands-on soldering, wire-cable assembly, and functional testing in a lab environment. You will support RF systems, prototypes, and test setups with meticulous attention to detail.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience in soldering, assembly and testing, and familiarity with IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 standards. You will read drawings and assist engineers with prototyping and improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on soldering, assembly and testing in a lab or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of electronic components and circuits.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform precise soldering (surface-mount and through-hole) on PCBs and components.
• Assemble wire harnesses, crimp connectors, and cable assemblies per drawings and standards.
• Conduct electrical and functional testing of components and boards using test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, etc.).
• Assist engineers in RF test setups, including RF cabling and proper shielding/grounding practices.
• Experience supporting RF or high-frequency circuits, including coaxial cable assembly, impedance matching awareness, or basic RF measurement techniques (e.g. using spectrum analyzer or VNA).
• Train and guide the operator on the daily production process.
• Establish production work station, tool, and equipment arrangement.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Support engineers in prototype builds, modifications, and rework activities.
• Document test results, assembly issues, and suggest improvements when appropriate.
• Maintain lab tools and ensure ESD safety procedures are followed.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of faulty boards or assemblies.
