Job summary

Manpower Singapore seeks an Electronics Technician for a contract role at Ubi Crescent. You will perform soldering, wire/cable assembly, and functional testing of electronic components in a lab environment.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or certificate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, at least 3 years hands-on experience, and can read schematics, support RF test setups, and maintain ESD-safe work practices. You will also document results and assist with prototypes and production setup.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in soldering, assembly, and testing in a lab or manufacturing environment.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise soldering (SMT and through-hole) on PCBs and components.
• Assemble wire harnesses, crimps, and cable assemblies per drawings and standards.
• Conduct electrical and functional testing using test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply).
• Assist engineers in RF test setups, including RF cabling and shielding/grounding practices.
• Support RF/high-frequency circuits, including impedance matching awareness.
• Train and guide the operator on the daily production process.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Document test results, assembly issues, and suggest improvements.
• Maintain lab tools and ensure ESD safety procedures are followed.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of faulty boards or assemblies.
