Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of product design development experience.
• Experience in interconnects design industry is desirable; leadership skills required.
• Proficient with Mechanical Design and Solid Mechanics principles.
• Familiar with CAD/CAE tools such as CREO and ANSYS.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of new products and improvements with focus on connector design.
• Design and develop quality, manufacturable products with cross-functional teams.
• Translate customer requirements into product drawings and specs, perform design analysis and verification.
• Ensure designs validated per customer requirements and industry standards.
• Take project leadership, reconcile technical DFM with Process Design team.
• Be part of integrated team resolving customer dissatisfaction.
