Job summary

Our client in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Director (Electrical) to provide strategic, commercial and operational leadership for a major infrastructure project. You will steer large-scale electrical and multidisciplinary delivery, align objectives with profitability and ensure governance and safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years in electrical design and project delivery, with proven leadership of senior teams and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant electrical engineering and project delivery experience.
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure, mission-critical, utility, industrial or complex projects.
• Strong commercial, contractual and financial-management knowledge.
• Proven leadership of senior project and engineering teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables under demanding schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, financial and operational delivery of large-scale electrical projects.
• Oversee projects from planning through testing and handover.
• Align objectives with profitability and operational requirements.
• Direct manpower, engineering resources, equipment planning and vendor partnerships.
• Take ownership of project financial performance and cost forecasting.
• Lead negotiations for major contracts and subcontract packages.
• Oversee variation orders, claims, contractual risks and dispute resolution.
• Serve as senior escalation point for clients, consultants and contractors.
• Ensure governance, quality, EHS and compliance standards are maintained.
• Lead and mentor Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and engineering teams.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across project delivery.
