Achieve Group seeks an innovative Wafer Tester Electrical Engineer to design, validate, and optimize the electrical infrastructure of next-generation semiconductor wafers. You will bridge silicon architecture, wafer fabrication, and yield enhancement through robust test methodologies.

You will design test structures, perform parametric testing, RF measurements, and automate test systems, collaborating with Process Integration and Product Engineering to align electrical targets with manufacturing

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of semiconductor electrical testing or wafer characterization.
• Deep understanding of MOSFET, diode, and passive components, including leakage, Vth, reliability.

Responsabilités

• Design electrical test structures and kerf layouts to monitor process variations and device performance.
• Perform hands-on parametric testing, DC/AC characterization, and RF measurements on wafers.
• Develop automated electrical test systems, including SMUs, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
• Analyze large datasets of electrical test structures to drive yield improvements.
• Support Failure Analysis to root-cause electrical shorts, leakage paths.
• Collaborate with Process Integration and Product Engineering to align electrical targets with manufacturing.
• Load BOM data and manage development BOM entries.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an innovative Wafer Tester Electrical Engineer to design, validate, and optimize the electrical infrastructure of next-generation semiconductor wafers.

Overview

In this role, you will design parametric test structures, develop electrical test methodologies, and analyze electrical performance data. Your work will directly bridge the gap between silicon architecture, wafer fabrication processes, and final yield enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Structure Design: Design electrical test structures, kerf layouts, and scribe-line test vehicles to monitor wafer process variations and device performance.
• Electrical Characterization: Perform hands-on parametric testing, DC/AC characterization, and RF measurements on wafers using automated probe stations.
• Hardware Integration: Develop, program, and optimize automated electrical test systems, including source measure units (SMUs), oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
• Data Analysis & Yield Optimization: Analyze massive datasets of electrical test structures to isolate process-induced electrical anomalies and drive yield improvements.
• Failure Analysis Support: Proceed Failure Analysis (FA) and root-cause electrical shorts, opens, and leakage paths on the wafer.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Process Integration, and Product Engineering teams to align electrical targets with manufacturing capabilities.
• BOM Loading: Collect material and Submit BOM list on development system

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s, or Master’s, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a highly related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in semiconductor electrical testing, wafer characterization, or device physics.
• Semiconductor Device Physics: Deep understanding of MOSFET, diode, and passive component behavior, including leakage mechanisms, threshold voltage, and reliability (HCI, BTI).
• Measurement Tools: Proven experience with parametric testers (e.g., Keysight, Keithley) and analytical wafer probers.
• Design PCB Layout Tools: Familiar with Altium Designer (AD), PADs, and CAD tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, KLayout) for designing test keys.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of automated test equipment (ATE) testing and wafer-sort methodologies. Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis software (e.g., JMP, MiniTab, Spotfire).
