Job summary

checc(singapore) pte. ltd. seeks a senior electrical professional to manage LV/ELV and M&E subcontractors on a Hospital A&A project in Singapore. You will plan diversion and decommissioning works, and oversee submissions, inspections, and commissioning.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of senior experience or 5+ years for engineers, and strong AutoCAD/Revit skills. Hospital project experience is preferred, with central region location in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant project experience for senior electrical role or 5+ years for electrical engineer.
• Experience in managing large-scale building, infrastructure, industrial, or M&E projects in Singapore.
• Good knowledge of LV/ELV electrical systems and IT structured cabling.
• Familiar with structured cabling, fibre-optic and copper cabling, MDF/IDF rooms, network racks, CCTV, access control, intercom, and other ELV systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prior hospital project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple electrical, ELV, and M&E subcontractors on the Hospital A&A project.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise diversion and decommissioning works for ELV systems (Fire Alarm, Fireman Intercom, BMS, IT/Data Cabling, PA, and related systems).
• Prepare diversion proposals and presentations for stakeholder approval.
• Oversee technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Conduct site surveys to verify existing conditions and feasibility.
• Serve as the primary contact reporting to user, client, and consultant on project matters pertaining to electrical, ELV, and operational issues.
• Ensure all works comply with workplace safety, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating with subcontractors to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Perform any other tender or project-related duties assigned by management.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise diversion and decommissioning works related to the project scope (ELV systems including, but not limited to, Fire Alarm, Fireman Intercom, Building Management System (BMS), IT / Data Structured Cabling, Public Address (PA), and other specialized systems found within existing healthcare infrastructure).

• Prepare and submit diversion proposals and presentations to obtain approval from stakeholders.
