Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a WSHO/FSM to uphold regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety across the organisation at the Aero location in Singapore. You will manage WSH and fire safety requirements, lead risk assessments and incident investigations, and work with authorities to ensure ongoing adherence to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace) or Health and Safety.
• Registered WSHO with MOM Singapore.
• Registered FSM with SCDF.
• Minimum of 3 years of EHS/WSH experience; aviation/aerospace backgrounds preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and ISO 9001/14001/45001.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
• Fulfill the role of Fire Safety Manager (FSM) under the Fire Safety Act.
• Ensure Lines of Business comply with WSH regs and fire safety requirements.
• Implement, monitor and improve EHS management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections and audits; ensure corrective actions.
• Lead investigations into incidents with root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain fire safety programmes (risk assessments, drills, ERP).
• Liaise with MOM, SCDF, NEA on WSH and fire safety matters.
• Plan monthly WSH Committee meetings; document minutes and actions.
• Escalate safety concerns promptly and foster a positive safety culture.
