Job summary

Taurus Firm Pte. Ltd. seeks a WSHO Manager to lead safety, fire safety, and regulatory compliance across our estates properties.

You will drive safety initiatives, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and enhance safety management systems to support our Estates division. Responsibilities include risk management, audits, incident investigations, licenses management, emergency preparedness, system testing, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of WSH experience in large institutions, healthcare, or complex built environments.
• Registered WSHO with MOM and a qualified Fire Safety Manager (FSM).
• Deep knowledge of Singapore's workplace safety, health, and fire safety laws.
• Familiarity with ISO/QEHS management systems; Internal Auditor cert in ISO 9001/14001 or OHSAS 18001 is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Dynamic priority manager, proficient in MS Office, and willing to support after-hours operations when required.

WSHO Manager (Safety & Compliance)

We are seeking a WSHO Manager to lead workplace safety, fire safety, and regulatory compliance across our properties. You will drive safety initiatives, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and enhance safety management systems to support our Estates division.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workplace Safety, Health (WSH) & Fire Safety

• Policy Leadership: Develop, implement, and continuously improve WSH, EHS, and Fire Safety frameworks.
• Risk Management: Formulate risk management strategies, safe work procedures, and mitigation plans.
• Audits & Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure strict regulatory and internal compliance.
• Incident Investigation: Lead safety incident investigations, determine root causes, and enforce preventive actions.
• Regulatory Liaison: Manage licenses, permits, and submissions, serving as the main liaison with regulatory bodies.
• Emergency Preparedness: Coordinate fire drills, form Company Emergency Response Teams (CERT), and secure Fire Certificates.
• System Testing: Oversee regular testing, inspections, and audits of fire protection systems.
• Performance Reporting: Monitor safety metrics and compile WSH reports for leadership review.
• Safety Culture: Promote safety awareness through campaigns, training, and safety committee initiatives.

2. Operations Support

• Operations Partnership: Collaborate with building managers and vendors to ensure all maintenance and operations are executed safely.
• Project Oversight: Provide safety oversight for asset development, upgrades, and refurbishment projects.

Job Requirements
