Job summary

Mitsui Chemicals Asia Pacific, Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot and repair E&I equipment at the production plant. You will supervise E&I contractors, plan maintenance activities and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include performing engineering studies, managing spares, training junior engineers, controlling costs, and ensuring risk assessments for all E&I work. Rotational postings between Jurong Island sites may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5+ years in E&I maintenance.
• Diploma holders with more experience will be considered.
• Experience in chemicals/petrochemicals is advantageous.
• Knowledge in PLC or DCS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule all maintenance works, including procedures, labour, equipment and materials.
• Manage site E&I contractors and ensure safe, timely maintenance activities.
• Carry out engineering studies for modifications, revamps or upgrades.
• Investigate plant problems and propose countermeasures to improve reliability.
• Ensure risk assessments and a safe workplace for all E&I activities.
• Create and review E&I SOPs and maintain records and reports.
