Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Process Senior Engineer to transfer, develop and release new processes, and to characterize improvement opportunities via DOE and data-driven analysis. You will set up robust Control systems to maintain performance and prevent excursions, troubleshoot out-of-control conditions, and drive CIP projects for yield, quality and cost gains.

The role requires hands-on experience in 6”/8” fab environments, SPC/DOE/FDC tools, and strong teamwork with cross-functional

Qualifications

Master or degree in Electrical/Electronics/Microelectronics/Chemical Engineering or Physics/Chemistry.
Minimum 3 years working experience as Dry Etching or Ashing process engineer in 6” or 8” fab.
For Dry etching, prefer recipe development experience in LAM etcher.
Diploma holder with >5 years working experiences can be considered.
Experience in SPC, DOE, FDC and yield analysis software.
Attention to detail and have good analytical and problem solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Good teamwork. Enjoy training others.
LEAN knowhow will have added advantages.

Responsibilities

Transfer, develop and/or release new process; characterize and improve processes via DOE and data-driven analysis.
Set up effective Equipment and Process Control systems to maintain performance and prevent excursions.
Troubleshoot out-of-control situations and yield excursions; decide lot disposition in out-of-spec cases.
Establish Control Action System; define procedures to be followed.
Drive CIP projects to achieve best-in-class yield, quality and cost.
Train Shift Process Engineer/Assistant Engineer; document processes and procedures.
