Job summary

Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) is seeking a senior communications leader for its BizTech Group to drive strategic communications and public engagement for BTG’s emerging technology portfolio, including the Punggol Digital District robotics precinct.

The role requires highly developed narrative and brand-building skills, with a track record in multi-agency collaboration, media relations, crisis communications, and executive briefing.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in strategic communications, public relations, public engagement or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Develop a compelling, evidence-based narrative to drive awareness and understanding of BTG’s work in emerging technology.
• Establish and manage the brand identity and positioning for BTG's emerging technology portfolio and the Punggol Digital District.
• Represent IMDA in cross-agency communications, leading narrative alignment and joint engagement across BTG projects.
• Lead stakeholder management for the Punggol Digital District, fostering timely, coherent partner communications.
• Identify and optimise digital and social media channels to maximise reach across IMDA and partner platforms.
• Drive and implement public engagement strategy with a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Establish monitoring and reporting routines to track sentiment, reach, and engagement with data-driven insights.
• Develop playbooks, messaging guides, and templates to raise engagement quality across BTG.
• Mentor team members to elevate BTG’s public engagement capabilities.
