Sun Life Financial is seeking a Head of Pricing for Sun Life Private Wealth to drive pricing, governance and profitability across regional markets. You will lead actuarial modelling, risk assessment and product governance, translating complex results into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will coordinate with Finance, ALM, Risk and Reinsurance teams to ensure sustainable, competitive propositions and scalable pricing capabilities across

Qualifications

• Actuarial credentials: FSA, FCIA, FIA or equivalent designation, together with a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant actuarial experience, including substantial life insurance pricing and modelling responsibility.
• Technical knowledge: Life insurance product economics, actuarial pricing concepts, deterministic and stochastic modelling.
• Regulatory & financial frameworks: LICAT and IFRS 17 knowledge.
• HNW expertise: Broad understanding of global high-net-worth insurance market; direct experience with HNW life products is preferred.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and develop actuarial professionals across locations.
• Ways of working: Collaborative, commercially minded and comfortable working across geographies and non-standard hours.

Responsabilités

• Lead pricing, financial analysis and risk assessment for new products and pricing initiatives from feasibility to launch.
• Oversee actuarial modelling and the use of pricing tools to support business decisions.
• Ensure governance and approvals for pricing activities across regions and products.
• Present complex analyses to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop a diverse actuarial team and promote high standards.
