Job summary

Sun Life is seeking a Manager of Private Wealth Expense Management to oversee strategic expense management, cost optimization, and analytics. You will collaborate with global finance teams in Singapore and Bermuda, driving initiatives beyond standard reporting and leveraging AI to enhance financial processes.

The role requires a CPA/CA, a finance degree, 7+ years in relevant roles, and experience with SAP, Hyperion, and Alteryx. A focus on governance and cross-functional partnership is essential.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA designation is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive finance experience in expense management, FP&A, or controllership.
• Strong proficiency with SAP, Hyperion, and Alteryx; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate annual budgeting aligned with strategic goals and validate allocations.
• Lead periodic forecasting cycles and provide actionable variance insights.
• Develop expense allocation methodologies and chargebacks in line with policy.
• Implement governance frameworks and monitor variances and risks.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive productivity with business leaders.
• Support finance transformation and process automation initiatives.
