Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock in Singapore seeks an experienced actuary to own pricing workstreams end to end for life insurance products, including model development and governance. You will build and run pricing models in AXIS, perform profitability analysis and scenario testing, and present recommendations to senior leadership while translating product features into system requirements.

The role involves mentoring junior colleagues, collaborating with Product, IT and Ops, and supporting end-to-end

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant actuarial experience in life insurance.
• Hands-on experience in life insurance product pricing, modelling and/or implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own pricing workstreams end to end for new life insurance products and enhancements.
• Build, enhance and run actuarial pricing models hands-on, including development, validation and documentation.
• Perform profitability analysis, scenario testing, and assess pricing assumptions and risks to arrive at recommendations.
