Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Singapore seeks an Executive/Senior Director to lead diverse, complex client assignments across Southeast Asia. You will drive value creation with operational and commercial leadership, and expand market reach through marketing, client relationships, and a strong network of consultants.

You will build and develop teams, deliver performance improvements and cost transformations, engage with boards, and guide multi-workstream projects from diagnostics to implementation,

Qualifications

• Be able to demonstrate a successful track record in converting business contacts and leads into sustainable, profitable revenue streams.
• Must have successful and significant experience in the selling, diagnostics & delivery of and performance improvement mandates in a top tier strategy firm, leading specialist and/or niche advisory firm.
• Relevant experience in Operations, including manufacturing, supply chain management, purchasing and logistics.
• A recent track record of leading teams & delivering major transformational assignments with a proven benefits record.
• Excellent financial & business and/or financial modelling skills, including rapid diagnostics of cash needs, product profitability, cost base and operations.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across Southeast Asia or beyond, at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Building a robust yet flexible plan to generate deal flow and sustainable business externally and internally.
• Grow the practice by broadening routes to market and leveraging senior relationships.
• Plan accounts strategy for long-term profitable growth and position A&M as a thought partner and business leader.
• Selling and delivering ODDs, post-merger integration and performance improvement mandates.
• Develop pitches and support business development from diagnostic to implementation.
• Lead rapid diagnostics and identify opportunities to transform a client’s performance.
• Execute transformation plans tied to EBITDA and working capital improvements.
• Lead post-acquisition work and ensure timely realization of Diligence/performance improvements.
• Develop robust methodologies for 100-day plans and multi-organization integrations.
• Collaborate with clients across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and purchasing.
• Lead teams across multiple workstreams to deliver consolidated transformation.
