Job summary

E3G in Singapore seeks a regional diplomat to build the PPCA’s presence in Southeast Asia and manage relations with governments, philanthropies and international partners. The role advances the Coal Transition Partnership in the region and supports the broader PPCA agenda.

You will work with the regional lead and PPCA Communications to ensure a coordinated approach, influence policy and finance products, and help foster an inclusive, learning-oriented culture within the Secretariat.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in diplomacy or international engagement with policy context.
• Ability to translate complex political and climate topics into briefing materials.
• Strong initiative, planning, and time-management.
• Experience coordinating with multiple partners across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the PPCA’s diplomatic outreach in Southeast Asia.
• Advance the Coal Transition Partnership Programme in the region with the central PPCA team.
• Oversee key PPCA events and deliver event objectives.
• Provide advice on PPCA policy and finance products for regional audiences.
• Work with regional lead and PPCA Communications Manager for a coordinated approach.
• Contribute to building an inclusive, learning-oriented culture in the PPCA Secretariat.
