Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a senior officer to lead CPD’s strategic priorities under Singapore's ICC framework, supporting cross-border CCS cooperation and advancing mitigation measures. You will guide a team to develop policies, review frameworks, and build capability in carbon crediting methodologies.

The role requires strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, with at least 9 years in climate change or sustainability.

Qualifications

• At least 9 years of work experience in the climate change / sustainability field in the public or private sector.
• Degree in Chemical, Environmental Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience in carbon markets.
• Proficient with analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop policies and implementation approaches for CCS and emerging mitigation measures.
• Drive development, review and operationalisation of Singapore’s ICC Framework.
• Build organisational capability in carbon crediting methodologies, CCS and emerging mitigation measures.
• Build, maintain and influence international and regional networks to advance Singapore’s interests.
• Lead division-wide strategic and operational initiatives.
