Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Digital Asset Risk leader to define and drive risk appetite for digital assets and blockchain initiatives. You will integrate crypto risk into enterprise frameworks, develop KRIs, and coordinate governance with cross-functional teams to sustain prudent risk taking.

You will lead risk assessments for new tokens, protocols and counterparties, design stress scenarios, and oversee risk reporting to senior management and committees.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in risk management within financial services or crypto-native organizations, with at least 4–6 years directly covering digital-assets or blockchain-related products.
• Deep understanding of crypto market structure (CeFi/DeFi), token economics, custody architectures, consensus mechanisms, and on-chain analytics.
• Hands-on with risk MI/analytics; comfortable with data tooling (Excel/BI; SQL/Python a plus).
• Working knowledge of enterprise risk, operational risk, model risk, and information security frameworks; audit-ready documentation skills.
• Executive-level stakeholder management; ability to synthesize complex topics into concise, decision-ready insights.

Responsibilities

• Establish risk appetite and KRIs for digital-asset activities; integrate digital-asset risk into the Risk Management Framework across multiple risk domains.
• Coordinate and support risk assessments for new tokens, protocols, and counterparties; lead product risk reviews and risk assessments.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure adherence to applicable standards; coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and audits.
• Produce clear, data-driven risk MI and dashboards for senior management and Risk Committees; drive remediation and oversight.
• Develop programme to uplift risk teams on digital asset activities and influence decision-making with data.
