Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation in Singapore is seeking a Senior Technician to overhaul, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain MTU diesel engines and power generation systems within a high‑utilization workshop.

You will disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components, read technical drawings, support engine testing, and guide junior technicians while ensuring safety and OEM standards; occasional site support and regional travel are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with diesel engines and power generation systems.
• Experience in engine overhaul and component repair beyond routine maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform overhaul, disassembly, inspection and reassembly of diesel engines and components.
• Execute maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on mtu engines and gensets in workshop and on site when required.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and ensure compliance with OEM manuals and safety standards.
• Support engine testing and commissioning activities, including bench testing troubleshooting.
• Manage turnaround time, quality and production targets in a high-demand workshop environment.
