Job summary

Rolls-Royce, through mtu Power Systems, is seeking a Service Engineer in Singapore to deliver field and workshop service support for mtu engines and related systems. The role covers installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair or overhaul at customer sites and in workshops.

You will work independently, uphold safety standards, interact with customers professionally, and travel regionally as required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to diagnose complex issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and service manuals.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair or overhaul of mtu engines and associated equipment at customer locations or in the workshop.
• Manage field service jobs per work orders, manuals, and procedures, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical/electrical or system-related issues efficiently using analytical problem-solving.
• Conduct system acceptance tests with customers and complete required documentation.
• Prepare and submit technical service reports, investigation summaries, and travel or job completion documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company WSH policies in all activities.
• Represent mtu Rolls-Royce professionally during customer engagements and support process improvements.
• Carry out additional service tasks as assigned by management.
