Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Service Engineer to deliver high‑quality field and workshop service support for mtu engines and related systems in Singapore. The role covers installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair at customer sites and company facilities, with a customer‑focused mindset.

You will perform diagnostics, system acceptance tests, and generate detailed service reports while upholding safety standards and Rolls‑Royce brand representation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in the diesel engine or generator industry.
• Proven experience in servicing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair or overhaul of mtu engines and associated equipment at customer locations or in the workshop.
• Manage field service jobs in accordance with approved work orders, technical manuals, and company procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical/electrical or system-related issues and conduct acceptance tests with customers.
