Job summary

Rolls-Royce Solutions Asia PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Technician (Diesel Engine) to deliver hands-on technical service and support for MTU electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.

The role covers commissioning, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair at customer sites and in-house facilities, with independent field leadership and a strong safety focus. The candidate should have an engineering background (ITE/ Diploma/ Degree) and at least 1 year in

Qualifications

ITE, Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering or any relevant Engineering disciplines.
Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in a service or maintenance engineering environment, preferably within power systems or industrial equipment sectors.
Preferred: Knowledge in hybrid, electrified, or digitalized power solutions.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair/overhaul of MTU engines and associated equipment at customer locations or in the workshop.
Independently manage field service jobs in accordance with work orders, ensuring quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Conduct system acceptance tests with customers or their representatives, including performance verification and documentation.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical or system-related issues efficiently and accurately.
Provide timely and detailed technical service reports, including investigation summaries and corrective actions taken.
Submit travel and job completion reports to document project milestones and service outcomes.
