Job summary

Argyll Scott Asia is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a 2‑month direct client contract, with potential to extend. You will manage CI/CD platforms (GitLab/GitHub Actions), design pipelines, and support deployment models across on‑premises and AWS.

The role requires hands-on containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation/CDK), with focus on security and observability. You will collaborate with development teams, promote DevOps best practices, and help drive

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience.
4+ years in DevOps roles.
Hands-on with CI/CD platforms, especially GitLab or GitHub Actions.
Strong AWS experience across compute, networking, storage and security.
Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation/CDK, Helm and Datadog.
Experience across on-premises and cloud-native deployment models.
Understanding of cloud security, quality and automation.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain CI/CD platforms such as GitLab and GitHub Actions.
Design, automate and optimise CI/CD pipelines with custom runners.
Design and support deployment models across on-premises and AWS.
Implement and manage containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
Develop IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation/CDK and related tools.
Implement observability with Datadog and Helm.
Support cloud migration and application modernisation strategies.
Promote DevOps practices and improve developer experience.
