Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Singapore seeks an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, security posture, deployment pipelines and system reliability. You will bridge development and production environments, evolving AWS-based setups toward Kubernetes with a focus on robust security and scalable AI workloads.

The role requires 3–5+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps, strong AWS/ECS knowledge, and experience with CI/CD, IAM, monitoring, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years hands-on experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in AWS infrastructure and networking; ECS knowledge and ability to set up Kubernetes (EKS).
• Deep understanding of secure network architecture, IAM, vulnerability management, and patching in production or restricted environments.
• Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
• Experience with system monitoring, logging, production troubleshooting, and backups/DR readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale AWS cloud environments (ECS) while migrating to Kubernetes (EKS).
• Provision and manage AWS services: RDS PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Bedrock, ELB.
• Enforce robust security using AWS WAF, GuardDuty, Firewalls; manage IAM/RBAC.
• Ensure production reliability, observability (CloudWatch), incident response, backups/DR.
• Administer GitLab CI/CD pipelines; integrate SAST/DAST and IaC where applicable.
• Coordinate vulnerability management and penetration testing with project teams.
• Collaborate with vendors to transition operations in-house.
