Job summary

ARGYLL SCOTT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a DevOps Engineer – AWS/Cloud in Singapore on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on designing and running robust CI/CD pipelines, managing on-prem and AWS deployments, and enabling cloud migration with IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation/CDK.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm and Datadog, improving security, quality and reliability while supporting Agile teams and developer platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain CI/CD platforms such as GitLab and GitHub Actions.
• Design, automate and optimise CI/CD pipelines using custom runners with emphasis on quality, security and reliability.
• Design and support deployment models across on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
• Implement and manage containerised environments using Docker, Kubernetes/EKS and related technologies.
• Support application teams with cloud migration and application modernisation strategies.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation/CDK and related tools.
• Implement configuration management, monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog and Helm.
• Provide hands-on support across AWS compute, networking, storage and security services.
• Support DevOps adoption across Agile teams and improve developer experience via Internal Developer Platforms & Portals.
• Collaborate with development and technology teams to identify pain points and propose technical solutions.
• Promote DevOps best practices, automation, security and continuous improvement across engineering teams.
