Job summary

UNITED OVERSEAS BANK LIMITED in Singapore seeks a seasoned DevOps engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes and OpenShift, while ensuring robust security testing with HCL AppScan DAST and reliable monitoring with Elasticsearch and Kibana.

You will craft Groovy and Python scripts to automate tasks, troubleshoot and RCA complex pipeline issues, and collaborate with vendors for tool upgrades and maintenance. On-call stretch hours may be required.

Qualifications

Proven hands-on DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
Experience with DAST tools including HCL AppScan.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
Strong scripting in Groovy and Python.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, xRay.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform RCA.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and supporting DevOps CI/CD tools and pipelines.
Manage container platforms, Kubernetes, and OpenShift CI/CD pipelines.
Handle HCL AppScan DAST toolchains, pipelines, and platform.
Work with Elasticsearch, index management, and Kibana visualizations.
Maintain Jenkins pipelines and Groovy scripts.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve pipeline issues.
Write Python scripts to automate DevOps tasks and reduce manual effort.
Support OS and DevOps application patching activities.
Remediate DevOps infrastructure issues including schedulers, cron, and shell scripts.
Develop server-side automation scripts using Unix/Linux shell.
Collaborate with vendors for tool support, upgrades, and maintenance of DevOps tools.
