Job summary

oncod pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Design Manager with extensive experience in aluminum and glass facade systems to lead design from concept through fabrication.

The role involves coordinating detailed drawings, liaising with clients and consultants, and ensuring compliance with architectural, structural, and regulatory standards. You will manage design teams, supervise timely delivery of design documentation, and ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and Singapore codes.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facade design, with a strong portfolio in aluminum and glass systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Solid understanding of Singapore design practices, BCA codes, and industry standards.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, especially in dealing with clients and consultants.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design of aluminum and glass facade systems to meet architectural, performance, and safety requirements.
• Assist the Design Director/Project Team in the development of system designs that comply with project specifications and performance criteria.
• Prepare and review design drawings, construction drawings, and fabrication/shop drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors during technical design discussions to resolve facade-related issues and obtain necessary approvals.
• Oversee and ensure timely delivery of design documentation throughout project life cycles.
• Manage internal design teams and ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and code requirements.
• Stay updated on Singapore building codes, facade industry trends, and best practices.
