Job summary
WuXi Biologics in Singapore seeks a Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer to design, commission, qualify and maintain the DeltaV automation platform for Drug Substance manufacturing, including stainless steel systems and bioreactors. You will work with Global Automation Team to ensure system reliability and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include FAT participation, URS/FS design, VPE integration, SOP maintenance, system validation, change control, and after-hours support to ensure production
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Automation, Electrical & Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering or related engineering fields.
- 5–8 years of pharma/biotech experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV in GMP manufacturing environments a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Global Automation Team to design and implement DeltaV solutions for Drug Substance equipment.
- Prepare URS/FS and design documents with Emerson for project alignment.
- Participate in FAT and track punch lists to ensure on-time delivery.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, qualification and validation activities with cross-functional teams.
- Support VPE integration and routine DS process automation troubleshooting and optimization.
- Develop, review and maintain SOPs and system lifecycle documentation.
- Provide on-call support and contribute to audits and change control.
