Job summary

Grab seeks a Senior Data Scientist (Analytics) to join the Save & Spend Tech Family in Singapore, working onsite at Grab One North. You will extract insights across deposits, investments, cards, payments, and wallets, partnering with product, UX, marketing and engineers to shape the product roadmap.

You will lead data-driven analyses, champion experimentation, and develop scalable analytics solutions to empower the business decisions across Grab Financial Services.

Qualifications

• You have at least 4 years of experience in Analytics, BI, or Data Science in Tech (FinTech or E‑Commerce) or Financial Institution.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics/analytics/economics/math/engineering or related field.
• Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries and querying large relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and programming tools such as Python or R.
• Experience in data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI or D3.js.
• Experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests and product experiments with DoE basics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to derive insights, design experiments, and drive key product decisions.
• Support strategic plans with data insights, performing deep-dives into user behaviour and product efficacy.
• Provide tailored analysis for specific products, define critical metrics, and recommend continuous improvements.
• Design, measure, and recommend A/B tests and multivariate experiments, including layout optimisation and algorithm effectiveness.
• Analyse clickstream and transactional data to uncover insights on user behaviour and drive product metrics.
• Develop self-serve data solutions for stakeholders that are scalable and automation-ready.
