Job summary

Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking an experienced DAE Product Manager to lead day-to-day operations, incident response, and product lifecycle management within MAS's Data Analytics & Engineering Division. You will partner with multiple teams to ensure production reliability, governance, and continuous improvement while delivering value through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on Day 2 operations experience in production environments (data science platforms, analytics infra, or similar)
• Proven RCA experience with immediate and strategic improvements that span multiple teams
• Experience creating, evolving, and documenting SOPs based on operational learnings
• Experience managing SLA/SLO compliance and translating metrics into improvements
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring platforms, and automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering practices
• Knowledge of ICT governance frameworks in financial services

Responsibilities

• Hands-on operational management of production systems, log analysis, and incident response while maintaining deep technical understanding of system components
• Oversee RCA for incidents and service degradations; propose cross-functional improvements
• Proactive system optimisation through monitoring; identify bottlenecks and recommend architectural or process enhancements
• Manage and troubleshoot technical components; escalate complex problems and suggest preventive measures
• Establish and improve SOPs; incorporate lessons learned and best practices
• Manage SLA/SLO compliance; perform regular reviews and implement corrective actions when thresholds are breached
• Identify operational gaps and collaborate with development, infra, and business teams to remediate issues
• Lead post-incident reviews and translate findings into actionable improvements across tech and processes
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from concept to launch with ongoing operational excellence
• Manage product development using Agile; facilitate ceremonies and track metrics
• Oversee project management activities including risk assessment, resource allocation, and quality/security standards
• Balance feature development with stability; make trade-offs between new capabilities and reliability
• Oversee ICT governance audits to maintain best practices
