Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank’s Group Internal Audit & Investigations seeks a Senior Audit Manager to lead audits in Data Management and Artificial Intelligence. The role sits within the Data Management audit team and focuses on data quality, privacy, sovereignty, records management and AI controls, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in audit or risk management, strong data management background, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in audit or risk management.
• Strong Data Management background incl. AI.
• Certifications such as CIPP, CDMP desirable.
• Familiarity with BCBS239, GDPR, EU AI Act, NIST, ISO.
• Proficiency with audit tools and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits in Data Management and AI.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to audit team.
• Identify risks and drive management action plans.
• Champion use of AI and data analytics in audits.
• Monitor and report on issues to Risk Committees.
