Job summary

CFGI seeks a hands-on Data Engineer to build and operate the data foundation for client AI solutions in Singapore. You will design and run governed pipelines, lakehouse and semantic layers, enabling auditable, AI-ready data for analytics and models.

This is a manager-level role working with an expanding Data & AI team across APAC and global clients. You will partner with AI engineers, data scientists and client stakeholders, ensuring scalable, compliant data architectures and reusable components

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10 years of hands-on data engineering experience building and operating production data pipelines.
• Experience delivering data work end-to-end to a production standard, including designing, building and operating governed data pipelines and platforms.
• Client-facing or executive-stakeholder delivery experience, with ability to explain data design to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the data foundation for client AI solutions.
• Design, build and govern ingestion, pipelines, lakehouse, semantic layer, and data-quality controls.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to serve AI-ready data for models and dashboards.
