Job summary

Knowledge Computers Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.

You will build robust ETL/ELT workflows and work with AWS services. You will collaborate with Data Scientists and business stakeholders to support analytics and AI/ML initiatives, implement monitoring and governance, and contribute to CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience in cloud environments.
• Strong expertise across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Hands-on with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Proficient Python engineering and software fundamentals.
• Experience leading delivery workstreams and mentoring engineers.
• Experience designing AI/ML data platforms.
• Knowledge of model monitoring and observability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Build and automate ETL/ELT workflows to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop data solutions using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, and Lambda.
• Work with Data Scientists and business stakeholders to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and data quality processes to ensure reliable data delivery.
• Maintain data governance, security, and compliance with organisational policies and relevant regulations.
• Contribute to CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automation initiatives to improve engineering practices.
• Document data pipelines, architecture, and technical processes.
