Job summary

CFGI in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Artificial Intelligence Architect to own the solution architecture of client AI builds and lead the team’s technical design. You will design reference architectures, set security controls, govern data and model strategy, and guide engineers to deliver scalable, audit-ready solutions across APAC with some travel.

This is a manager-level role in a hybrid Singapore setup.

Qualifications

• Approximately 6–10 years of experience in technical delivery, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, data architecture, cloud architecture, AI architecture, and related technology consulting.
• Hands-on experience architecting production generative AI and/or agentic systems, including orchestration and model integration.

Responsibilities

• Own the solution architecture of the practice’s client AI work and lead the team’s technical design from strategy and use-case definition through production deployment.
• Translate client strategies and use cases into build-ready reference architectures covering components, integration patterns, data flows, model choices, security controls, governance requirements, and delivery approaches.
• Determine when agentic architecture genuinely adds value and establish design patterns accordingly.
• Design reusable agent-first reference architectures including multi-agent orchestration and model gateways.
• Own model and vendor strategy and third-party model risk, including approach to model selection across providers.
• Evaluate platforms, models, and tooling based on capability, cost, latency, data residency, security, portability, and business needs.
• Embed security and controls into architecture from the outset, including prompt-injection defenses, least-privilege identity, sandboxing, and data governance.
• Design architectures to satisfy governance and audit expectations of regulated clients and leadership.
• Set and maintain technical standards for the practice and review processes across engagements.
• Mentor engineers and data professionals toward consistent architectural standards.
